The Gator Mart is a part of UHD's commitment to supporting student success by addressing food insecurity and promoting overall well being. Sponsored by the Houston Food Bank, the Gator Mart provides FREE, nutritious groceries to students so that can focus on achieving their academic and personal goals.

 
What We Offer:
  • Up to 30lbs of FREE groceries per week (120lbs per month)
  • A variety of fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples
  • Convenient walk-in access
  • Friendly and supportive staff available to connect you with additional resources, as needed

Fall 2025 Shopping Hours:
Monday & Wednesday - Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: Closed

 
Things to Know Before Your Visit:

There are no appointments needed. 
Register at the Gator Resource Center in One Main Building, room N210 prior to visiting the Gator Mart during regular office hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 
When visiting the Gator Mart, please bring reusable bags.
