- Duration: Messages should be concise. Individual slides should not exceed 10 seconds in length.

Your Ad will be added as part of the rotation and the frequency of how much it is displayed will depend on the total number of ads, message and flyers currently running.
Content Submission Process
- Eligibility: Only authorized UHD university colleges, departments, offices, and recognized student
organizations may submit content for display on the UHD digital signage system. You
will need to submit your content to your designated gatekeepers or content producers.
Gatekeepers/Producers: Designated gatekeepers or content producers from each department or college will compile and upload content to the UHD Digital Signage system. They are responsible for ensuring that the content adheres to university policies and technical standards before submission. - Approval: Each department of college is responsible for approving and reviewing their own content
to be posted and following university guidelines and technical standards for digital
signage system.
- Faculty/Staff: Must go through their college to submit a request to upload content. All content
that is requested will follow procedures established by the department or college.
Approved content is reviewed by web techs for errors to ensure it meets the UHD's
standards. Web Techs uploaded all approved content for their department or college.

Prohibited Content
- Content that is discriminatory, offensive, or not in alignment with the university’s
values is strictly prohibited.
- Commercial advertising for non-university-related entities is not allowed unless part
of a university-approved sponsorship.
- Content that violates university policies, local, state, or federal laws will not
be displayed.
Emergency Notifications
- In emergencies, digital signage “Emergency Notifications” will override scheduled content to display important safety and emergency information. Information Technology, in collaboration with the university’s Emergency Management Office, will manage these overrides.
Content Delivery by Location:
There are several formulas currently used for delivering digital signage content:
- The Digital Signage in the One Main, Academic, Shea, WSC, Science and Technology and Commerce buildings play content from the campus-wide playlist for 40 minutes out of each hour and content specific (local) to a College or a department for 20 minutes out of each hour.
- The Digital Signage at UHD Northwest plays content from the campus-wide Digital Signage and content for Northwest specifically
