UHD eSPORTS
Purpose
UHD eSPORTS is the premier collegiate esports team in the city of Houston, comprised
of students from the University of Houston-Downtown. Launched in November 2018, this
esports program focuses on promoting friendship, developing character, and competing
at the highest level.

Current Varsity Teams*
League of Legends (practices held on Mondays 4-7 p.m., Friday 3-5 p.m.)
Dota 2 (practices held on Wednesdays 2-5 p.m.)
CS:GO (practices are flexed into week as student schedules permit)
Overwatch (practices held on Fridays 11 a.m.–4 p.m.)
Fortnite (practices held on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.)
Super Smash Bros. (practices are flexed into the week as student schedules permit)
*Teams are free to host try-outs but must lock in roster 1 month before major competitions. For more info, talk to a team captain.
