GatorSUPPORT Groups

GatorSUPPORT Groups

WHAT IS A SUPPORT GROUP?
GatorSUPPORT Groups provide a safe and supportive environment for students to share thoughts and feelings, increase self-awareness, give and receive feedback, gain skills and resources and learn new ways to cope with personal challenges. Support group participants often find that they feel less alone in their struggles and often benefit from the mutual support and learning that occurs in the support group setting.

All groups are confidential and free for actively enrolled UHD students for the current semester.

HOW DO I GET MORE INFORMATION?
If you would like to learn more about participating in a GatorSUPPORT Group, please complete this Online Intake or call 713-221-8121, indicating the name of the group that interests you.
