Job Summary
The Program Manager manages the operations and office administrative projects of a university program.
Duties
- Develops and manages administrative projects and comprehensive program activities, orientations, workshops, and events
- Performs outreach to local professionals and organizations to build partnerships that will assist students
- Monitors student involvement in career readiness opportunities
- Provides academic and student support resources as required
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, and student support offices across campus to increase the accessibility of resources available to students
- Leads extracurricular program-related events to promote a sense of belonging for students
- Attends meetings; serves on and advises committees and councils as appropriate
- Interprets and clarifies academic policies and procedures to students, faculty, staff, and parents
- Provides high level support for the program leadership

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the management of a program in a higher education environment, and of the related trends, issues, and accepted practices;
- Knowledge of the function and operations of the specific program
Skills:
- Good technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office;

Work Location and Physical Demands
