Job Summary
The Events Assistant assists in the coordination of events and activities. Responsible for the accuracy of constituent information in the event tracking system.
Duties
- Uses the event tracking system to maintain event reservations and requests
- Responds to internal and external requests for information and room availability
- Creates and maintains event files and reports as requested
- Under the direction of the manager, coordinates event related logistics including room set-up and décor
- Maintains departmental inventory as needed
- Orders office supplies and services
- Assists events manager at events as assigned.
Marginal Duties
- May provide event support at nights and on weekends
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience

- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements. Position is physically comfortable; individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. Occasional lifting, pushing, climbing, and pulling may be required. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks
