Job Summary
The Desktop Replacement Coordinator manages the Desktop Computing Project and Satellite Lab Upgrade Project including scheduling and supervising a rotational staff and tracking all replacements. This position also functions as tier II support for IT to analyze complex technical problems and develop plans to address issues contributing to all aspects of technical support for faculty, staff, and students.
Duties
- Manages and supervises a rotational staff of USS full time and part time personnel to track and fulfill all Desktop Computing Project replacements as well as Satellite Lab Upgrade Project replacements including customer satisfaction surveys.
- Analyzes complex technical problems and develops plans to resolve technical issues impacting operations and units. Collaborates as necessary with vendors to diagnose problems.
- Installs, maintains, upgrades, and supports standard software applications and coordinates desktop project replacements.
- Serves as the senior technical representative on assigned projects

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related job experience
License/Certification:
- None Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience is an asset
- Technical staff supervision experience is an asset
- Desktop replacement coordination experience is an asset
- Experience using call management system to track tasks is an asset
