Job Summary
The Coordinator/Advisor coordinates and provides oversight for prospective and current student, and/or graduate on-campus, off-campus, and online operations, and advises and assists students with their educational career and in meeting their educational goals.
Duties
- Advises prospective and current students, and/or graduates with their academic plans and with selecting courses and majors, providing advice and assistance to students in relation to their educational career.
- Provides comprehensive information in response to all queries.
- Performs data entry and administrative work as necessary; maintains files according to departmental procedures and protocols.
- Collaborates as necessary with others to set up class schedules.
- Collaborates with various university administrators and departments to coordinate and help develop and maintain training activities, processes, and procedures.
- Produces reports as required.
- Oversees the department/program main email inbox.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related job experience

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the relevant policies, procedures, and admissions requirements and prerequisites, and the related trends, issues, and accepted practices.
Skills:
- Good technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office, EAB Navigate, and PeopleSoft;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse university community.
Work Location and Physical Demands
Primary Work Location:
- Works in an office environment.
Physical Demands:
