Job Summary
The Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Outreach manages the customer service team and the team that recruits prospective students through the enrollment funnel, guides them through the registration process, and assists them with securing plans for payment for classes.
Duties
- Leads recruitment outreach efforts and assists with the university's enrollment management efforts
- Assists leadership in providing oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Office of Admissions
- Participates in local, state, and national recruitment efforts, as required. Collaborates and builds effective partnerships with other university departments, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless enrollment services delivery to students
- Represents the office, division, and university by serving on committees as required
- Provides strategic leadership to the recruitment team, overseeing and optimizing caseload management to enhance outreach and engagement efforts
- Oversees the customer service team, ensuring high standards of support and satisfaction for prospective and current students
- Leads professional development initiatives for both the recruitment and customer service teams, fostering growth and continuous improvement

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience
License/Certification:
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the admissions process at universities, and of the related trends, issues, and accepted practices.
Skills:
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CRM, MS Office, PeopleSoft, and in using multimedia at events
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Abilities:
- Ability to advise students and assist them through the enrollment funnel
- Ability to monitor progress in outreach campaigns
- Ability to manage staff
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
Work Location and Physical Demands
Primary Work Location:
- Works in an office environment.
Physical Demands:
- Work is usually performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
- Individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.
- May, on rare occasions, be required to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Must have the ability to move items of up to 25 lbs.
