Job Summary
The Assistant Coordinator, Purchasing processes purchase orders and coordinates university procurement card program
Duties
- Reviews requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
- Addresses purchase order discrepancies and disputes
- Approves requisitions and processes purchase orders
- Trains and assists departments with purchase requisitions
- Reviews and processes change orders
- Solicits informal bids, analyzes and tabulates bids and awards best value
- Assists with soliciting formal bids, analyzing & tabulating bids and awarding best value
- Assists departments with finding HUB vendors
- Assists HUB vendors with inquiries and questions

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business with no experience or a bachelor's degree with minimum of one (1) years of job related experience
