Job Summary
The Applications Manager provides division-wide support and administration of specialized applications, web services, application development and databases. This position is also responsible for management of the internal and public websites for the division.
Duties
- Develops and maintains application portals and features as needed, including developing technology solutions across departments in the division
- Installs, tests, and troubleshoots customized software configurations based on various platforms and operating systems
- Supports development and implementation of new projects and installations
- Researches and recommends long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future software needs
- Serve as technical liaison between all departments in the division, IT, and application vendors
- Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring software performance
- Supervises the development and maintenance of Division webpages and forms. Ensures ADA accessibility requirements are met

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
- A combination of education, experience, certifications, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of job related experience

Physical Demands:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
- Occasionally kneeling to troubleshoot hardware, equipment failure, etc.
- Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks
- Occasionally lifting/carrying equipment up to 50lbs.
