CANCELLATION POLICY

 

IN PERSON COURSE POLICY:

Cancellations received more than 10 business days before the start of the course Full refund minus $100 processing fee. 
Cancellations or reschedules received between 5 to 10 business days before the start of the course Refund of half the total amount paid
Cancellations or reschedules received less than 5 business days before the start of the course Forfeiture of payment *

*In the case of illness (with doctor's note on letterhead) or the death of an immediate family member (with obituary) --  exceptions can be made.

Rescheduling more than 10 business days before the start of the course will not be charged a processing fee.

No shows will result in a forfeiture of the full tuition price.

The University of Houston-Downtown reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes with insufficient enrollment. Any and all fees paid toward classes canceled by the University of Houston-Downtown will be promptly refunded or applied to a later class date at the customer's discretion. 

The University of Houston -Downtown reserves the right to dismiss any student for unbecoming behavior (disrespectful, demeaning, disruptive, condescending, hostile, etc), failure to make timely payments, or poor classroom performance. The students removed in this manner are not entitled to a refund.

ONLINE COURSE POLICY:

Any cancellation made by the student for an online class is not eligible for a refund.

PRINTING RECEIPT

Here are the steps to view/print receipt for the registration fee paid for the course:

1. Follow link to log in with the username and password that you set when you created to register for the course.
2. Click My Account menu option (located on the left side).
3. Click View/Pay Invoices menu option and select the invoice/receipt you would like to print.
5. Click on the invoice number of the listed invoice(s) to view or print the invoice.
4. Logout of the system
