Gators Wrap Up Season With Strong Showing
David Garcia pitched six innings and was charged with eight runs, three of which were earned. He struck out three batters and closed the outing with an ERA of 3.50. Jonathan Ruiz had a big day at the plate, going 2-4 while scoring two runs.
WCU jumped out to an early lead and, unfortunately, did not relinquish that lead, despite the Gators best efforts. So congratulations, once again, to the Gator Men's Baseball Club team, on their successful season that culminated in a trip to the National Collegiate Baseball Association (NCBA) Division II World Series.
