Job Summary
The Web Developer develops and creates websites, pages, templates, and content for the University's website.
Duties
- Develops and designs websites, templates, and other content within SharePoint
 - Edits existing content and components on the UHD website
 - Assists with developing, scheduling, and distributing emails
 - Creates graphics for web pages and for other uses as required
 - Assists website technicians with maintenance, support, and improvement as required

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Associate's degree, vocational certification, or 60 hours of college course work
 
Required Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) year of related job experience
 
License/Certification:
- None required
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Web development or Adobe certifications are preferred
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Fluency in development languages, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery;
 - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite;
 - Understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility requirements;
 - Knowledge of web development best practices
