Job Summary
The Executive Director of Marketing develops and implements strategic marketing strategies across UHD's colleges, programs and departments, for graduate and undergraduate degrees. The Executive Director oversees a team of marketing professionals to develop digital and print collateral for UHD's internal constituents, as well as overseeing the department's media buying, budgets and vendors. The Executive Director ensures brand consistency, coordinates photography and video shoots, and oversees the distribution of university-wide email content to promote events and activities.
Duties
- Manages a marketing team overseeing the development of various marketing collateral and projects.
- Develops and coordinates marketing plans and projects for UHD colleges and departments.
- Participates in marketing planning sessions and meetings with vendors, internal teams, and external groups.
- Provides advice on promotional items and manages their selection.
- Schedules the distribution of email blasts.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, English, or a related field
Required Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience and supervisory experience
License/Certification:
- None required

- Master's degree in Marketing
- Supervisory experience managing a team of creative professionals.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans.

- Involves sometimes working outside standard business hours to cover events, conduct interviews, and assist with communication.
