Job Summary
Coordinator, State Grant and Work Study administers, monitors and reconciles the college work-study programs, the state grant programs, processes Texas Applications for state financial aid for students and prepares and submits state reports.
Duties
- Coordinates the administrative operations of the college work-study program.
 - Provides assistance to students by answering questions about financial aid status and eligibility. Receives applications and other required documents, enters each application into the student information system and creates a budget for each
 - Counsels students on state grant programs and any other financial aid available
 - Identifies eligible students and makes awards for state grant programs
 - Reconciles and reallocates federal and state work-study accounts
 - Balances various state grant program accounts
 - Prepares data for federal and state reports

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree
 
Required Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience

- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements.
