History
UHD Homecoming was founded in summer 2014 by employees Richard Sebastiani, Sports
and Fitness and Patrick Edwards, Student Activities. The two felt it was past time
for UHD to have a homecoming of its own to celebrate the unique history, spirit and
pride of its students and alumni, The creation of the UHD signature event coincided
with the celebration of UHD's 40th year of educating students. The first UHD Homecoming
Week took place October 20-25, 2014 with the theme, "We Are Gators: Past, Present,
and Future". The rest as they say is history...
