Long-time Houstonians know it as the old post office. Those in the know call it “POST Houston,” Downtown Houston’s hub for culture, food, and recreation, and it's only a ten-minute walk from campus.
Now UHD students, staff, and faculty are invited to take advantage of discounts and tour the facility at UHD Day at POST Houston, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 401 Franklin Street.
Gators can enjoy foods from around the world at a 15% discount, whether it be from Pakistan, South America, the Philippines, or West Africa. Stateside, there’s also hamburgers, hot chicken, and Cajun cuisine. Check out all the food options.
So grab lunch and enjoy POST Houston’s communal, diner-style seating with cyberpunk vibes or check out the rooftop farm and great views of Downtown. And there’s more for arts and culture enthusiasts, including “Quiet Ensemble: Solar Dust,” and “Houston Is So Hot Right Now.” Works by local artisans are on display and for sale through ShopX, a brand new way to shop and experience unique finds.
Don’t miss the fun as Downtown’s hub for culture and food becomes inundated with Gators! Read below for the full list of discounted restaurants.
