On Friday, December 6, 2024, UHD alum are invited to Hermann Park Golf Course for a day that is all about reconnecting, relaxing, and a little friendly competition. The annual UHD Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament is not just a golf game—it is a chance to catch up with Gator alum, make new connections, and reminisce about the good times at our university. Hosted by UHD's Office of Alumni Relations, this event is open to all skill levels, so whether you are a pro or barely know which club to use, you’re welcome to participate.
The day kicks off bright and early with registration at 7 a.m. The tournament begins at 8 a.m., and its game on! Don’t have a partner? No worries. You’ll be paired up with someone who’s just as excited to hit the course as you are. It’s the perfect occasion to mix and mingle with fellow alum or current students who share your love for the game (or those who are just there for a good time!).
But there’s more to it than just swinging clubs. Danielle Soria-Orozco, Director of Alumni Relations, said “This tournament is about reconnecting with the UHD family, making memories, and having a great time. Whether you’re here to win or just to have fun, everyone’s welcome!”
