So, what's a Quality Enhancement Plan? It's a five-year, university-wide plan centered on a well-defined and focused topic or issue related to enhancing student learning and/or student success. Respondents to the poll/survey rank the three suggested QEPs (see below) from the most impactful to the least impactful.
The Big Picture: The QEP is a component of the accreditation process with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on College (SACSCOC). UHD is in the middle of the accreditation process right now.
Developing a QEP is our opportunity as a campus community to demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement of student learning and student success. And that's the most fundamental role of any institution of higher education.
Don't miss this chance to have your say—take the survey now and be a part of UHD's future success!
QEP 1: Better Through Belonging
This topic aims to enhance students' sense of belonging in their academic fields through focused curriculum development. These programs include Book Club Underground, Read To Lead, Newsroom, Quackshack, Watson, Connections, and Readability. By promoting a theme of reading one great book a month, we aim to inspire students to explore diverse topics and develop critical reading skills.

By integrating career readiness components into degree programs, students will gain proficiency in professional skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
