Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a Microsoft program designed to support technical
education by offering access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching, and research.
This program is available to all University of Houston-Downtown students and faculty.
Some of the software available includes Microsoft Project, Visio, Windows Server,
SQL Server, Visual Studio Professional, and more.
Azure Portal Login Log in using your UHD email and password.
Need Help?
If you're having trouble verifying your student account, logging in, or accessing the full list of available software, follow these steps:

- Open your browser in InPrivate or Incognito mode.
- Go to https://signup.azure.com/studentverification?offerType=3.
- Enter your school-provided email address and click Next.
- If this is your first time signing in, complete the Identity Verification by phone.
- After verification, select your school email address as the verification method under Student Verification.
- Agree to the subscription terms and click Verify academic status and accept terms.
- You will be redirected to the Education Hub Store. Click Software to view the complete list of available software.
- Select the software you need and click View Key in the panel on the right to obtain the license key.

Office 365 allows UHD Faculty, Staff, and registered students to use Microsoft Office products on up to five personal devices (PC, Mac, Android, and iPhone). Visit the O365 page for instructions on how to download and install Microsoft product.
