Charge

Review and propose an academic calendar three years in advance that accounts for the first and last day of terms, first and last day of sessions, holidays, reading days, exam periods, and commencement to upper administration. The committee also ensures that the current year calendar is publicly accessible through the UHD website and offers the subsequent two years as an internal resource to allow for small modifications, as needed. We also ask that this committee propose a draft policy regarding calendar development principles and requirements for review through the shared governance process.
