MDCOB Meets with Houston Community College Students for HCC Transfer Day

In our continued efforts to create a strong transfer student pipeline, the Marilyn Davies College of Business recently visited Houston Community College as a guest for their Transfer Day.

Assistant Dean of UHD’s College of Business, Christine Poleski, met with potential transfer students as they filtered in, seeking information about careers in business and the University of Houston-Downtown. Each prospective student received a UHD t-shirt, a fact sheet, and a variety of snacks to get them through the day.

Christine Poleski enjoyed meeting with students and staff throughout the event, saying,” HCC Central is a strong partner to the Marilyn Davies College of Business. We were excited to partner with them on MDCOB HCC Transfer event and enjoyed meeting with their great business students who were interested in transferring to UHD MDCOB.”

The Marilyn Davies College of Business is always excited to meet students from local communities and looks forward to continuing a partnership with Houston Community College.
